"Safe Encounters. Real Learning. Responsible Exploration.”

Welcome to Fangs In The Classroom! We’re excited to provide an engaging, hands-on educational experience where students can safely explore the fascinating world of reptiles and invertebrates.
To ensure the safety of every participant, a signed waiver is required before taking part in our programs. This waiver confirms that parents or legal guardians understand the nature of the program, acknowledge the small risks associated with interacting with live animals, and grant permission for students to participate in supervised educational activities.
At Fangs Of The Forgotten, safety, respect for animals, and meaningful learning experiences are our top priorities. By completing this waiver, you help us create a safe, interactive environment where curiosity can grow and students can develop a deeper appreciation for these incredible creatures.

Why this waiver is essential

Before participating in a Fangs In The Classroom educational program or field trip, a signed waiver is required to ensure parents or legal guardians understand the nature of this hands-on learning experience involving live reptiles and invertebrates.

Our programs are designed to educate, inspire curiosity, and promote respect for wildlife through safe, supervised interaction with animals. While Fangs Of The Forgotten takes every reasonable precaution to maintain a safe and controlled environment, interactions with live animals may carry minor inherent risks.

This waiver confirms parental or guardian permission for participation, acknowledges awareness of those risks, and ensures that all participants agree to follow the safety guidelines provided during the program. It also helps us maintain a safe, respectful, and enriching learning environment for every student involved.

Your understanding and agreement allow us to continue offering unique educational experiences that foster confidence, curiosity, and appreciation for reptiles and invertebrates.

Our commitment to safety, your agreement to participation

Fangs Of The Forgotten is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and educational experience for all participants. Our programs may include supervised observation and limited interaction with live reptiles and invertebrates as part of hands-on learning activities.

Participants and their parents or legal guardians acknowledge that working with live animals carries inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, stings, allergic reactions, or other unforeseen injuries. While Fangs Of The Forgotten and its staff take all reasonable precautions to maintain a safe environment and to ensure proper animal handling procedures, these risks cannot be completely eliminated.

By signing this form, participants and/or their parents or legal guardians acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in activities involving live animals.

Participants agree to follow all instructions, safety rules, and handling guidelines provided by Fangs Of The Forgotten staff at all times. Failure to follow instructions may result in removal from participation for safety reasons.

Parents or legal guardians certify that they have disclosed any known allergies, medical conditions, sensitivities, or other health concerns that may affect the participant’s ability to safely interact with animals.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the undersigned agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless Fangs Of The Forgotten, its owners, employees, volunteers, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, or losses that may arise from participation in the program, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
